Release ... Shades of Blue's
An album that started out as being a blues album.
However, during arranging and recording several songs, I wrote new ones, not quite blues, but inspired by events that made me feel blue. The attack in Paris, the terrorrist bombing of place, suicide bombings. Very sad all in all and I wrote several songs due to these nasty events. So ... another kind of blues, so to say. Songs like "Woke up to have a nightmare", "Nobody's fault", "Paris is crying", reflect my thoughts about those dreadful events.
I also had some other songs ready that ended up on the album as well, making it again a very varied album with several musical styles on it.
This album is filled with original music I composed and wrote myself. It took some time to recorded vocals, drums, guitars, keys, bass... the works. But as always it's very nice to be working on a project like this, slowly seeing it come together and reaching the final stage.
With the fine artwork Vera Walzberg and I put together it became a fine album, that I'm proud of having produced.
